Der Xinomavro "Shadow Play„ gilt als Musterbeispiel für die Möglichkeiten dieser schwierigen autochthonen Sorte aus Nordgriechenland. Tiefes Rubin rot, in der Nase deutliche Aromen von Sauerkirschen, Pflaumen, trockene Tomaten, schwarze Oliven, Kräuterwürze. Am Gaumen direkt, intensiv, mit perfekt integrierten Tanninen. Lang anhaltend.

Trinkreife: Jetzt und bis Ende 2026/27.
Dieser Wein sollte bei einer Temperatur von 14°C bis 16°C getrunken werden.
Zu diesem ausdrucksvollen und feinwürzigen Xinomavro wäre ein Lammtajin (Lammragout aus Nordafrika) mit Dörrpflaumen und süßen Gewürzen (Zimt, Ras el Hanout) optimal.
